The Equistrap can help you develop a steady hand position. Place the strap around your horse’s neck. Hold the ends in each hand with your reins.
Pull slightly upward to put tension on the strap. You want a little more contact on the strap than your reins. This will steady your hands and give your horse more confidence in your contact.
